Casa Luce is a beautiful apartment on the top floor of the Castle outhouse with panoramic view and developed on a single floor. Renovated keeping the perfect Tuscan style, it is located within the exclusive Borgo del Castello di San Donato in Perano, between Gaiole in Chianti and Radda in Chianti, near the delightful Vertine hamlet and overlooks the combed vineyards owned by Frescobaldi.
This Medieval Village is born with the group of houses around the church of San Donato that once fortified joins a network of castles that can still be admired today. Surrounded by fertile farmland, the castle became a country residence of a wealthy landowner. It Was purchased in the SIXTEENTH century by the Strozzi family, which was an influential Florentine family.
It Remained the property of the Strozzi family for four centuries, until it was sold in 1967.
The lower floors where House Light is built belonged to the group of constructions around the castle.

In the years 90 it is carefully restored, using natural materials carefully for the original features.
